Good morning, everybody.
Will somebody please ask Speaker of the House Mike Johnson why he needs a continuing resolution in the first place? It’s because the House he pretends to run can’t produce a budget when it’s due! If he was a corporate CFO and failed this badly to do his job, they’d fire his tush the hell out of there.
Comon’ Mike. Stop pretending that you know what you’re doing and that, whatever’s wrong, it’s somebody else’s fault. And, while you’re at it, stop lying about stuff and explaining the President. You’re just embarrassing yourself and making matters worse.
It’s high time for a Republican in the House – maybe Marjorie Taylor Greene, again – to move to vacate the Speaker’s position. Time for someone to replace Johnson with a more traditional Republican who works for the American people instead of the President, who believes in the Constitution and who understands the essential importance of compromise. Who is willing to do his or her job instead of sweeping up after the circus elephant in the Oval Office.
Oh, but that can’t happen unless and until Mike Johnson orders the House back in session. …Bummer, but doesn’t his refusing to reconvene Congress disqualify him from holding his office?
Hello, Marjorie, you reluctant hero if ever there was one. Are you paying attention?
